Official Zoning Map

1.2 OFFICIAL ZONING MAP

  1. The Official Zoning Map, consisting of seventy-five (75) plats together with all explanatory matter thereon, is hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this Ordinance.

  2. The Official Zoning Map shall be identified by the signature of the Town Council President and attested by the Town Clerk, and bear the seal of the Town under the following words: "This is to certify that this is the Official Zoning Map referred to in Section 1.2 of the Zoning Ordinance" together with the date of the adoption of this Ordinance.

  3. Any Zoning Map amendment made pursuant to §11.1 of this Ordinance shall be entered on the Official Zoning Map under the direction of the Town Clerk within fourteen (14) days after the amendment has been approved by the Town Council, with an entry on the Official Zoning Map as follows: "On [date], by official action of the Town Council, the following changes were made in the Official Zoning Map: [Text of Changes]" which shall be signed by the Town Council President and attested by the Town Clerk.

  4. Regardless of the existence of purported copies of the Official Zoning Map, which may from time to time be made or published, the Official Zoning Map, which shall be located in the office of the Town Clerk, shall be the final authority as to the current zoning status of land, water areas, buildings, and other structures in the Town.
