§ 260-71

Time limit

If such application is approved, the applicant must begin construction, or exercise the right granted in the application if no construction is involved, not more than one year after the date of the approval. The Zoning Board may, upon written request of the applicant, for good cause shown, extend the decision of the applicant for a period not to exceed six months. The request need not be advertised. All construction must be completed not more than two years after the date of approval, unless otherwise specifically set forth to the contrary in the approval. The granting of an extension also extends the two-year period in which the construction must be completed.
