Notification of Abutters

Immediately upon an affirmative determination;

14.3-1. In the case of a modification of five percent (5%) or less, the zoning officer shall have the authority to issue a permit approving the modification without any public notice requirements.

14.3-2. In the case of a modification of greater than five percent (5%), the zoning officer shall notify by first-class mail all property owners abutting the property which is the subject of the modification request, and shall publish a notice in a newspaper of local circulation, indicating the street address of the subject property and stating that such modification will be granted unless written objection is received within fourteen (14) days of said public notice.  Costs of any notice required under this subsection shall be borne in full by the applicant requesting the modification.

14.3-3. If no written objection is received within fourteen (14) days, the zoning officer shall grant the modification.
