1101. Power of Town Council to Adopt - Consistency with Comprehensive Plan For the purpose of promoting the public health, safety, morals, and general welfare, the Town Council shall have the power, in accordance with the provisions of RIGL 45-24, to adopt, amend, or repeal, and to provide for the administration, interpretation, and enforcement of this Zoning Ordinance. The provisions of this Zoning Ordinance are set forth as contained herein and incorporate the Official Zoning Map or Maps of the Town. The Zoning Ordinance, and all amendments thereto, shall be consistent and in accordance with, and provide for the implementation of the North Providence Comprehensive Plan.
