1803 CONTINUANCES The body conducting the hearing or meeting for which notice is required may continue a public hearing or meeting. No new notice is required to reopen the public hearing or meeting if it is continued to a specific date, provided that a public announcement of the future date, time, and place of the continued hearing or meeting is made at the prior hearing or meeting and recorded in the minutes. If the hearing or meeting is adjourned, rather than continued to a specific date, in order to reopen the hearing or meeting all notice shall be given that would have been required for the initial public hearing or meeting.
